Work Planner

Are you a proactive and accurate Work Planner (32-40 hours) with experience in engineering? Are you looking for a versatile position in which you are involved in both technical and organizational processes? Then we have the challenge for you!
As a Work Planner at Zijtveld Grabs, you are responsible for the timely and efficient preparation of the production processes. You ensure that all required materials are available, planning is optimal and quality and safety are guaranteed. In addition, you will actively think along about process improvements and contribute to the success of our production process.
Your role
- Material management: You ensure that the materials required for production are ordered on time and correctly, including the corresponding administration
- Planning and coordinating: You plan both short- and long-term orders based on sales forecasts and production capacity. You do this in close consultation with the appropriate departments
- Data management: Managing articles and bills of materials in our ERP package (Ridder IQ)
- Technical understanding: You will read, edit and interpret technical drawings, ensuring that they match the bills of materials in the ERP system
- Problem solving: Recognizing hazards, bottlenecks and potential delays in the process, and coordinating with appropriate people in a timely manner
- Flexibility:You divide work flexibly and efficiently with your fellow work planner
- Process Improvement: You actively think about improving work and production processes to increase efficiency and quality
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least an MBO+ working and thinking level in engineering, preferably supplemented by experience in a similar position. An HBO education is a plus but not a must
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Knight IQ)
- Experience with CAD software (Solidworks) is a plus but not a must
- Knowledge of metalworking and the technical processes involved
- You work according to established quality standards and actively think about process improvement
