Mechanic/welder

In our modern equipped workshop, we build daily with a dynamic and skilled team a wide range of grabs for different machines with diverse applications such as demolition, forestry and infrastructure. With pride, Zijtveld develops and manufactures unique and well thought-out grabs, ranging in weight from 75kg to 20 tons! With a focus on quality and innovation, we are always striving to improve our products and processes.
Your role
As a welder/assembler at Zijtveld (minimum 32 hours per week) you will assemble and finish various components and grabs. In this versatile job, you have an eye for quality work and are responsible for manufacturing, adjusting and repairing various structural parts, using various techniques and equipment. We offer you the opportunity to explore different facets of work, whether you enjoy welding large products, hydraulically assembling machines, or just looking for variety. We look at what work suits you and are also happy to train you further.
What do we expect from you?
As a welder at Zijtveld, you have:
- You have a technical education, preferably VMBO/MBO in the direction of Metal Technology.
- You are a go-getter; you are proactive and flexible.
- You value quality; you take pride in what you make.
- You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language.
- You already have some experience as a construction bench worker/welder.
