The history of Zijtveld
In 1995 Jaap van Zijtveld, founded Zijtveld Grabs with a clear mission: to develop the best sorting grab with the right design. What started in a workshop with a practical approach and a strong focus on functionality, grew within a few years into a trusted name in the world of hydraulic grabs. By being close to the customer, listening carefully to user experiences and continuously improving, the company quickly managed to build a solid reputation.
Driven by craftsmanship and innovation, Zijtveld developed a wide range of grabs that found their way into applications in demolition, construction, infra, forestry and recycling. Each design was refined with an eye for simplicity, durability and performance. Zijtveld has since grown into a modern production organization with customers all over the world, but the down-to-earth character and focus on what really works have always remained.
10,000 grabs by 2021
In 2021, we celebrated a special milestone: the production of our 10,000th grab. An achievement we look back on with pride. Thanks to the commitment of our team, constant innovation and the trust of our customers, we have grown considerably since that time. We have now produced more than 25,000 grabs - a testament to our quality, reliability and commitment to the market.

Commissioning of a new plant, significantly expanding production capacity and technological capabilities.
Zijtveld Grabs becomes part of Indutrade, an international industrial group of companies specializing in high-performance technologies.
