Why 360° rotation makes all the difference in the cabin

As a machinist, you've known it for a long time: without rotation, you're nowhere. Nowadays it is standard to work with a grab with rotation, or, alternatively, a rotary attachment. But what does that really mean in practice? Not the theory, but how it feels behind the joysticks.

Think of how a hand works: without rotation, you can only open, close and bend. Handy, but limited. So it is with a grab without rotation; it can grab, but lacks the maneuverability to really work precisely. Rotation gives that extra freedom, as if you can turn your hand completely. That makes the difference between "grabbing" and real handling.

Less movement also means less fatigue at the end of the day. And by making clever use of the rotation, for example by positioning debris or rotating an element as you move it, you work even more efficiently. The work feels lighter, but the result is better.
