What is a truck-mounted crane grab?

A truck-mounted crane grab has been specially designed for mounting on truck-mounted cranes.  Unlike grabs for excavators, this application requires a different approach. Truck-mounted cranes have a more limited lifting capacity. Therefore, the grab must be grab in construction without compromising on strength or durability. In addition, space plays a crucial role. The available space between the cab and the loading bed is limited, which means the grab must be grab than variants for excavators.

The Zijtveld Approach

Zijtveld supplies truck-mounted crane grabs that come standard with side plates. In addition, several versions are available: with or without side plates, and with or without a bucket recess. The grabs are made of wear-resistant Hardox steel and equipped with replaceable and reversible blades.
